Smash'n Burger

"I usually don't leave reviews but this is easily the best burger I've had in a LONG time. And you can't really find smash burgers in Thurston County. The lady who took my order was super friendly as well. The only thing I wish is that it wasn't in the food court of the mall but I'm willing to deal with that because of how good the food is and how nice the workers are."

"These burgers and fries are pretty tasty. We ordered smash burgers with the smash fries and tried the sugary fries too, and a strawberry lemonade. The burger was elegantly simple, and didn't suffer by being too plain or too overwhelming. It was well seasoned with a nice bun. The smash fries are mostly a goop style sauce (not nacho cheese, which is what I assumed from the menu picture), fried onions and a slice of American cheese. Strawberry lemonade wasn't too sweet or too sour. My kids liked the sliders. The fries were also tasty. This restaurant is located at the Capital Mall Food Court, so the atmosphere is pretty rowdy. If you like people watching or have shopping it is convenient though. You can definitely bring your kids. Although you might note it's a little more expensive than other burger places. It took a while to get food considering the mall setup which implies to me a little quicker, so you might call ahead if you have kids. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking depends on time of year. Usually I'm sure you could get parking with a little bit of a walk. We walked in through the Best Buy as the most direct route, or you can park by Menchi's on the other side."

"The sliders and tots are awesome the burgers and fries were ok. Located in a mall. There is a five guys nearby but if you want a burger in the mall there are not many options except for the red robin outside."

"New place at the mall. It's pretty good. The fries were fresh and delicious. The burger was good. Best option in the food court for a burger (only option lol). The young man that took our order was all smiles and very nice. I'm glad he wasn't handling our food because in-between orders he was being chatted up by a female co-worker and his hand went in his sweats... why do people do this?"

"Not to be confused with Smash Burger, this place is NOT affiliated with them. Nice play on the name. They better hope they don't get sued. With that said, we tried it out. Not bad. Burgers are good. Kind of reminds me of the Ultimate Cheeseburger from Jack In The Box minus the grilled onions. If you don't like grilled onions be sure you mention 'no onions' otherwise they slather the burger with them. They seem a bit disorganized between front and back area staff. They need to work on the flow as they are constantly going back and forth. Also the front counter space and back area are messy. Hopefully they're using good hygiene practices because it's not represented well here. Still, if you're in the mall and have a craving for a burger, why not."
