"Im new to town and frequent hardware stores as a DIY kinda guy. This is a great "little" hometown hardware store. The place is way bigger than it looks due to the highly organized and well stocked shelves. I think they have literally everything you might need. No appliances or the like, but as far as everything else... well , they have stuff I couldn't find at Home depo. They have plenty of staff, and they are busy keeping the shelves stocked and faced so you can actually find what you need. The folks there are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have been very impressed by them. I'm really thankful I don't need to drive 45 minutes to Sequim to find what I need."

"General piece part store. Not much else. For example, The new owners emphasize low grade screws that are not framing and construction grade. Mostly if not all deck use. How many decks are being built in the area? Not even ACQ qualified. Mostly low grade stuff now. Hope they don’t change the outside yard and external building supplies. Go to Arrow or Carls lumber for real building materials you can trust. Floor staff seem less knowledgeable than under the prior Port Hadlock Hardware outlet and don’t have much to in terms of application and experience. Less friendly. I guess that’s progress. RLOL."

"The front counter cashiers are always So friendly. Art has been a staple for many years there in the paint department who always goes above and beyond to help me find things. Darren and his boss had some good trick of the trades today to help on the plumbing project I was working on this morning. As a woman they don't make me feel like I don't know what I'm doing which is really nice. Thank you all for being such a wonderful establishment in our community."

"I thank the owners of Hadlock True Value for hiring a stellar employee named Hannah. She was the 1st person to greet me then drop what she was doing to assist me for the next 30 minutes. I struggled with finding the right paint color to match a photo I had in addition to matching old paint can colors I had. Hannah took the time even when I was about to walk out. I didn’t realize what kind of person I had in front of me. She stuck with it and she made a perfect match to my photo and 3 different old paint chips from old paint cans. Then to top it off a young man named Colby helped me out to the car with all my paint cans. There is hope in our future with working young folks at the Hadlock True Value! I will shop here to support the locals rather than shop out of town to save a buck. Excellent customer service always wins."
