"I just moved to the area and was excited to check out the hardware store. I just left a job working at a small town hardware store and wanted to see how they'd compare. The whole time I was in the store one employee kept following me around and kept asking if I needed help. I told him a few times I was just looking around. I ended up finding a few things I wanted and he came up and asked "oh did you find everything ok?" Kinda snarky. I felt like he thought I was trying to shoplift or something with the way I was constantly being monitored. I went back today and was again bombarded with people asking if I needed help finding anything. My husband told them no we just need some fasteners and we're all good. The employee just responded with "well, we'll see". We both were kinda taken back by that comment. Overall I feel like whenever I've gone I spend most the time trying to avoid the employees so I'm not constantly asked if I need help or I feel like they think I'm trying to steal something."
"This is a crazy-fun place to visit every week. Massive key making department, lumber- electrical - plumbing - tools - fasteners, but also clothing ... work site durable wear, and nice Hood Canal wear too. Absolutely always friendly staff!"
"Stopped in to get some fasteners that were missing from something I bought online. Very helpful I found an employee easily. Also, was in need of a garden shed. I was having no luck finding what I wanted. Noticed they had some sheds. So I asked about their stock and recommendations. They found what I needed and it fits my needs perfectly.
