Sonic Drive-In

"Me and the husband went on a weekday morning to get a quick breakfast. When we pulled up to the car hop one employee got out of his car and went and sat on the bench with another employee. The older woman taking orders went quickly walking from somewhere outside back in to take our order. Ordered twin French toast sticks, the order taker runs out to get other 2 employees sitting outside, we assume they would make the order, we were wrong, sat for over 20 min and never got our food. Luckily the pay outside machine didn’t work cause we left and went to McDonald’s. We were the only customers and now we know why. Will never be back."

"I like the eat-in-car experience. The menu has slimmed down and there isn't much exciting to eat. The food is usually barely presentable: chilli dogs with the wrapper smashed into the sauce, wilted burgers that look 4 hours old, and sauces pouring off the edge of burgers instead of in the center, where you can eat it rather than wear it. I will end up eating here again, I'm sure. But this restaurant should step up their game and put some effort into their food."

"They were obviously understaffed. I waited 6 minutes before someone told me I had to go to the drivethrough. There, I was told the special advertised had expired that day, so I didn't get the price point. I was hungry so I got the food and paid double the price in the tv ad. Two cars ahead of me. Another 5 minutes or so to order. I finally got my order around 30 minutes after I first arrived. The food was okay. The person at the window was calm, pleasant and polite, but over-multi-tasking, apologizing for the delay. It will be a while before I go back."

"I ordered take out on the app. I showed up and waited 20 minutes and had to ask for my food. My food was wrong. I didn't get all my sides. It was cold. And it tasted gross. No apology was given. Fail all the way around. Do not recommend."

"Edit: my boyfriend's sandwich had a hair on it! Disgusting! Do not go here! You can barely understand them on the speakers and they can barely understand you; we had to repeat our order 3 times. Get the speakers repaired or replaced, please. Not only that, but we were told to pull into the drive thru after waiting in a stall for 10 minutes. Never had to do that before, isn't parking and ordering in a stall one of the hallmarks of Sonic? The employee that took our order sounded sweet, so that's why this review is 2 stars instead of 1, and the food is okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. Overall, it took over 20 minutes to order and get our food. Probably will not return and I don't recommend that others do either. Very sad."
