"I just came through oregon stopped at 5 or 6 goodwill although most are overpriced they all were organized and tidy. The one in shelton was like a trashcan. Stuff piled every where. Every single item I was interested in was priced higher then you could get it at Amazon or ebay. They need new management as well as a price check just horrible."
"Prices can be a bit high considering the products are donations, but their charity score is 100% although 5% of Donated clothes still end up in landfill. Still manage to find name brand clothes for much cheaper than retail."
"Bought a coffee pot that looked new for 14.00 had it a week and tried to get it to brew. It would not. So I took it back TODAY. They would not give me a refund even though I had my receipt. I am a senior living on 1000.00 a month. They would not even give me a store credit. Don't buy anything there you might need to take back. They won't credit you."
"I'm revising my good review. I'm hesitant to like Goodwill as it is because their corporate spending structure isn't great. I rarely return anything, (never have except a couple of clothing exchanges lately) but now that they no longer have dressing rooms, it's much harder to buy clothes with confidence. I brought a cute top back that I purchased 11 days ago. I didn't realize it was that long when I stopped in today, but even with their 7 day exchange only policy I asked if they would allow me to exchange it. I'm in every week or so buying random things. I understand the policy is there for a reason, however the "manager" that was called over was rude and acted like I was rediculous for even asking. She could have handled it appropriately and I would have been fine. I didn't expect her to accept it. I had the reciept, it was literally 4 days over, the item was like brand new, trendy and in season, so really she could have decided to take it back too. This was my last stop in. I didn't deserve to be treated like that. I'll just go to Fred Meyer next door where I can try things on."
"Well over all not a bad store glad to have one in Shelton. Maybe part of there inventory issue might be related to this my niece went to drop off a couple of bags of good kids clothes and they would not accept them unless we stayed and put them all on hangers. Not to sure what that is about driped off at plenty of other places and have never been required to work in order to drop them off. But after posting them on offer up there were a lot of people willing to take them off our hands won't ever take anything else to that store would rather give it away than take it back there"
