"I've used this place before and their service was good and professional but expensive. This time, they quoted me a price that was more than twice what it should have cost to fix the car, and that cost was almost entirely in one part that I could buy generic from a parts store for 1/12 (that's not a typo they were charging twelve times retail for this part.) what McCabe's was charging me and authentic vehicle dealer brand parts online for 1/2 (one half) of what McCabe's was charging. When I got my car back, there was a new problem with it that made it dangerous to drive, which not only hadn't been wrong with it when I bright the vehicle in. I didn't have the funds to fix the car at that time for the outrageous price they were quoting, and they wouldn't consider using the cheaper part even if I provided it myself. The new problem was not included in the original quote but was on a new quote they provided after I had paid the over $100 for the evaluation and quote. Which most shops would do for free. I'm probably not going there again and will get the work done somewhere cheaper or just do the work myself."

"DO NOT GO HERE. My wife brought our car in for a standard inspection on my Honda. She got a fair price around $50 for an inspection, and then also requested a load test for the battery. They said that that would bring it up to $150 (yikes, but ok, I guess). These bozos then called her back and quoted $900+ to flush stealing and brake fluids. Yes, $900 just to flush steering and brake fluid (on top of inspection). I stepped in and said we would go elsewhere to get that done because that’s about nine times what it should cost. When I go to pay for the inspection, it turns out the $150 was on top of the inspection fee (not what was agreed upon). Not to mention, any other reputable mechanic will do a load test for you for free or way cheaper than that (I just wanted a load test but they charged me for an entire electric diagnostic never requested.. not what was asked for). When I came in and asked why costs were so high for a simple fluid flush, I got a bunch of backpedaling from a mechanic named Walter who tried flipping paper around and explaining why their quote made sense (I guess it made sense when they were calling my wife back)… it didn’t. Bottom line. I paid almost $200 here to learn I needed to pay $900 more to get the work I needed done. In the end I went to a better spot and got it it done for 1/4 the price. This place is a joke. Save your money and go elsewhere."

They were able to get a full inspection and replace my brake pads and rotors in one day. I was concerned about how I would get to work if they couldn't complete the brakes in one day, and the front desk receptionist, Kita, did not hesitate to offer a loaner car.
