Reviews of Starbucks
"This was great! Perfect sandwich & my drink was one of the best I have had! I got my chai latte & they made it very cinnamon heavy...just the way I Prefer them!"
"I never know that there were only 2 shots in a venta. I will drive to the next place and get the 4 shots for less and better tasting. Sad!"
"I just got off of an overnight shift. It's 25⁰ F outside, I'm freezing and tired, so I decide to stop here for coffee. At the drive-thru window, I noticed a man behind me, standing in line. He had on jeans, a t-shirt, and a zip-up jacket. He was shivering. I never do this kind of thing, so it took everything in me to shout out to him, "sir, did you order a drink?" He responded "no, the guy behind me did" So I replied "let me buy you something, what do you want?" I just wanted to get him a hot chocolate or something to keep him warm. Before he could respond to me, a lady who I assume to be the shift supervisor leaned out the window and shouted for him to leave the line, as it's a safety hazard for him to be there without a car. He said "ok, when does your lobby open?" To which she repeated that he needed to leave the line. He asked again when the lobby opened. She hesitantly said "7 am, but..." then proceeded to tell me not to talk to "them" as it causes problems for the workers. I wanted to tell the guy to walk to the front and I'd meet him there with a hot chocolate, but he was gone before I could. I'm just livid at this experience. I've worked retail, including Starbucks, for 5 years. I know what it is like to deal with transient people. I understand there are safety policies in place. But this could have been dealt with very differently. The man didn't seem like he wanted anything more than somewhere warm to be. He was coherent and very polite. The employee could have had some amount of humanity while enforcing policies."
"I went here trying to buy some of the holiday cups for my sister and I and this is the store I usually go to because it’s right next to my house. I usually get my coffee with my holiday cups when they launch them. I asked to purchase them through the drive-thru like I normally do, and the barista‘s laughed over the microphone and said that they weren’t going to allow that they’re only allowing cups to be purchased in the lobby. I asked if this was a new policy and they ignored my question and stated they will be open at 6:30am for the lobby, so I simply purchased my coffee. I thought that was just a really rude and disappointing experience. I didn’t question it any further because I truly did not want to make a big deal over cups."
"I had ordered a large drink with an extra shot and a medium drink, both Carmel ribbon crunch. As we were pulling up to the window My son who was with me reminded me that a large is a grande, so small. I got to the window and told her that I didn’t realize that a large is a grande and I wanted an actual large, so a venti. She told me with an attitude that she had already made the drink. I asked if she can change it to a venti. She walked away without saying anything and approached her coworker who then looked at me and gave me a dirty look. The two seemed to be snickering while looking at me. She came back and said that it wouldn’t have been a problem if they weren’t busy. I think that if someone comes to order and don’t order correctly that they would remind them what a grande or venti is VS large or medium. It was my mistake and I apologized for it. It took them maybe a minute and half to fix the drink. I realized once I got home that they just put my drink in a venti cup and filled it with whip cream. I can not believe the customer service at this location. I think the lady at the windows name is Amy, thanks Amy for my diluted drink. I have inserted a photo of both drinks. The venti should be darker in color due to the extra shot."
