Sparky's Pizza: Damascus

"This one is going to be disappointing. Sparky's used to be THE pizza place to get a good pie. But something has changed. The parmesan schticks had no parmesan and were super doughy. I wasn't offered any dipping sauce either. The crust on the Uncle Leo was terrible and there weren't half the toppings there used to be on a pie. What the hell happened to this place? So this leaves us with Papa Murphys (uggh) or Papa Johns in Gresham... Both used to suck compared to Sparky's but now they both are better which is truly sad."

"Sparky's is a solid small local pizza chain. Their pizza has a good quality New York style crust. Toppings are generous and good quality overall. Sauce is pretty standard, good flavor. They could stand to find a different pepperoni supplier as it is somewhat lack luster and a bit on the chewy side. Sometimes consistency in their product is lacking. Breadsticks are similar to Little Caesar's in texture and flavor. Their staff is consistently friendly. I rate them B or B+ pizza joint in my book. If you live in the Damascus or Boring area a great choice nearby."

"Taste was on point. The bread sticks were as well. Everytime I travel here to the area I grab pizza here at least once. I get the deal with large pizza, bread sticks and soda for at 19 bucks. It's a small operation, but the shop is clean and they're pretty efficient with handling lots of orders. It can be hard to get in and out of depending on the time of day. It's worth at least trying once. I'm not sure if they deliver. There's one table to sit at outside and two inside but it's tiny, I like getting it to go."
