Reviews of Fuel Bistro & Wine
"Awesome hole in the wall. Found this place while traveling for a Facebook marketplace sale. After my experience anytime I'm going between Washington and Oregon I will definitely make this one of my stops. Super friendly staff and the sandwiches were stellar. Highly recommend the gunman."
"This was my first time coming to this place. I had heard about it from others. We had the Gunman Melt & the Monte Cristo, which was delicious with the soup of the day chicken pot pie that didn't disappoint. I gave it a 5 star across the board because all in all, this was a great experience with really good food. The only thing I could say that was a negative was the wait for the food was a bit long, which also meant the food wasn't as hot as I would've liked it. Regardless, I will definitely be coming back"
"Tried this place for the first time on a Friday during happy hour. Place was empty and devoid of activity. Noticed the many employees standing around eating and chatting behind the counter. Noted a bag of salad greens sitting on a cart at room temperature during our entire visit. Ordered 2 sandwich’s and 2 alcoholic beverages. Food and drink were good, but we were plagued by a swarm of fruit flies that fill this restaurant. Mentioned the inconvenience to our server but she acted clueless, and unapologetic. Bottom line: empty and expensive with a side of food safety concerns including cleanliness issues due to the fruit fly infestation. We won’t be back to this establishment. It’s kinda of sad as we eat out a few times a week and should be their target demographic."
"The staff were SO rude!!! We will never come back and do NOT recommend to anyone. I very politely asked if I got chicken with my salad because it was so bad and chewy. The server Marissa (who asked that I use her name) said yes, and I let her know I did not want my salad because I couldn’t chew the chicken. She offered to bring more chicken out and I explained that I was fine with just my side of soup. We got the bill and she charged us for the salad, which I asked to be taken off since I did not eat any of it. The manager had to approve it and he then came back to my table and asked me if I worked around the bad parts and tried the good pieces of chicken!!!!! I said absolutely not and that I did not want to be charged for something I have to “work around.” He took it off and then Marissa got really fiesty after that-raising her voice, hand gestures. Terrible. We will never be back! There was another very nice server who was on her lunch and stepped in and admitted that Marissa was being ridiculous and she couldn’t believe what she was seeing either. I feel bad for the nice staff who work in this hostile environment. *I should add that I did indeed try a few bites of the “good” pieces of chicken before I said anything to our waitress, but it was so rough and chewy! It tasted like chicken that was cooked the day before and then microwaved."
"Great Bistro with with a better than average selection of quality wines. I've been there a few times for lunch and find myself coming back. The food is always wonderful. There is a gift shop adjoining the restaurant that features kitchen and home decor items. One tip I can give you if you're going for lunch make sure to get there a little bit before noon to ensure a table."
