"Hadn't been in around 20 years. Atmosphere is the same. Portions seem smaller, but prices aren't crazy, so it's understandable. The chow mein isn't how I remember it and I didn't care for it. Subgum s&s chicken was delicious as well as the ham fried rice and lf course the egg rolls. The service was great!"
"Good food. Decent priced. My dad and I went alone around 5 or so a few nights back and there wasn't anyone dining which actually made it nice. The atmosphere was a bit drap; no music or anything. The quiet was nice but maybe just too quiet I suppose. The server was an absolute doll; very kind, courteous and attentive. The tea was probably my favorite thing. In all honesty I was shocked it was still open after all these years. Impressed by that fact alone. At this point most of the restaurants my Grandma used to take me to and loved are no longer even standing. Hope to be back sometime."
"Ordered Takeout. The fried rice was plain, per flavor and consisted of nothing besides rice, a bit of soy sauce, and a black ROCK and CHAR, found on the bottom of my 4 year old grandson's plate, both of which were of significant and concerning size. I'm so grateful he didn't break a tooth/teeth! The egg rolls and sweet and sour pork were good, and the chow mein was notably overcooked and bland, consisting mainly of onion. Overall, pricey and a terrible experience. Do not see an option for attaching pictures or I would have."
"The sweet and sour pork and plain rice were about the only two items that were decent. The shrimp chop suey was like a bucket of soupy, slimy, over cooked onions, celery and bean sprouts with a handful of super tiny, canned shrimp thrown on top. Very disappointing(photos attached to this review)! It looked like slimy maggot casserole. No one in my house would touch that dish. The soft chow main noodles tasted of metal and salt. The beef dish had mostly mushrooms and onions with very little beef. Being a local, I like to support family establishments, but I will never return to this place and cannot recommend it."
"Oh. My. Goodness. The egg rolls. They are gigantic and they are delicious . Two egg rolls cost around $8 and they are worth every cent. Each bite makes you feel like you've done something really good in life to deserve these egg rolls."
