Reviews of Roosevelt Dining Room
"Dinner felt like a culinary journey through the forest. I had the duck breast, which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the salmon, which had a perfectly crispy skin and paired amazingly with garnishes highlighting northwest ingredients. Breakfast the next day (smoked salmon hash) was also fantastic, and the servers were excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised to find such amazing quality food in a quaint lodge in the middle of the rain forest. It's absolutely worth a stop if you are in the area."
"The Quinault Lodge as a whole is a truly magical, cozy spot in a gorgeous setting, and the dining room was a lovely place to spend an evening--especially during the holidays. (Also great for breakfast when it's light inside so you can take in the lake view!) What really made the experience stand out for me, though, was the service. Bobby is the kind of server you gush about as soon as he leaves the table -- he truly elevated our experience with his friendliness, attentiveness, sense of humor and willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate my vegan diet. Love this place, love these people."
"Absolutely PERFECT. The Chef and his team delivered a Thanksgiving feast fit for a queen or a President. The attention to detail the General Manager, Operations Manager, and their team in the Roosevelt Room and hotel is above all the rest. Including Seattle. I am blessed to travel the world... Blessed to have met these fine men, their team and to have a place for me so close to home. God bless them and our great country. Trecy"
"Seriously stageringly Overpriced food and generally lousy and rude service ... bar tender was great. $12 bowl whichbwas really a cups worth of clam chowder was 25% giant chunks of celery and no clams ... rip off ... there is no where to eat at Quinault, the salmon house is half the price but it's nothing special either ... the bar pizza was $30 and was a very nice artisan wood fired but skimping topped cracker thin crust so a 16 " was really only enough for one hungry person or two max."
"Wow, what a find - sorry I do not have pics of the food. We sat outside for lunch, enjoyed some WA wine that was fab and had salad, chowder and turkey sandwich. The turkey sandwich was in a league of its own with its special sauce, fresh turkey, bacon and toasted (with butter) fresh bread. I am from Boston and chowder was one of best I ever had. Heather gave us great service and great wine and food recommendations"
