Reviews of Grants Burgers
"To expensive, took way to long for being only one there. The fries way over salted, burger bland and made wrong and the pickles tasted like they expired. Never go here disgusting"
"First visit to Grant’s and I’m hooked. I’m a lifelong burger and fries snob and have a very short list of restaurants that I really enjoy their burgers and fries. Two bites into the burger ( double meat cheese ) and I knew I’d be back - probably too often ( sorry Dr R !). Fresh, hot , juicy perfectly cooked with just pickles and a delicious secret sauce in a perfect sized soft fresh bun. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. Like a perfect batch of hot McD’s fries but with a lot more flavour. Washed is down with their own draft brewed root beer. I love A&W root beer but they’re my number 2 now. The 60s diner atmosphere and music is great and the service fast and friendly - well done guys !"
"Everything about the place is an old school drive in feel. Shakes are amazing, burgers are off the chain! Only thing is the way the menu works. Each item is separate, which to be fair, if you are just craving a burger and a drink, it works. I just point it out as a heads up since my first time in I had to go back up for another item. Highly recommend this place if you find yourself near it!! Oh, and they have a drive up window too."
"A great 'way back when' eatery. Bright clean decor, two large screen tvs for music videos, classic regular burger joint fare and reasonable prices. Onion rings, fries, burgers and shakes, what's not to like?! No veggie options, fish only on Fridays..."
"I normally wouldn't leave a bad review for a place unless the service was as atrocious as the food was. This wasn't the case here. My buddy and I are here on our way up to Mt Baker, and boy-oh-boy was the food bad. After like 2 bites of my burger, I asked my friend how his was and he shuddered. It looked, felt and tasted like they'd thrown burgers they cooked hours ago back into a microwave. We weren't mad, but we were definitely bummed out. Everything they served was extremely basic and should have tasted much better. The burgers had mustard on them (which I prefer, while others don't) AND ALSO a kind of "special sauce". This was also gross. If it were one or the other, the burgers would have been edible to a much higher degree. Maybe we went on a bad day, because I'm not sure how a place can stay open for as many years as they have if the food was constantly *this* bad. The service was super fun and friendly, but I just couldn't possibly bring myself to go back with the food being that big of a miss. According to my buddy, the onion rings were good, though! SORRY Grant's! I really didn't want to leave this bad of a review, but hopefully it will cause some extra effort by the kitchen staff."
