"Finding good, I mean really good home-cooked style breakfast in BHAM can be challenging. Horseshoe Cafe knocks it out of the park! We tried the biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious, fresh, and seasoned just right! If you're familiar with waffle house, I'll add that the hash browns were that style and flavor, the way they should be! The mimosa flight and cowboy coffee were a great start to out daily adventures! Get out and support local!"
"Arguably my favorite place to stop in for a beer (or 2) and a tasty something to eat. Bar on one side, diner vibe on the other. Never been disappointed with the food and if you are looking for a drink or 2 the bar will not let you down. Favorite spot downtown for many years now."
"We googled best “Breakfast Chicken in Bellingham” and the Horseshoe Cafe popped up! It did not disappoint! Tender tasty chicken! Eggs, pancake and bacon super tasty too!"
"Nice place to go across the border.. amazing heart warming food, good portions. They have hidden(not so hidden) bar, with variety of cocktails and a special drink for each day of the week. Staff is friendly."
"Long standing diner Came here for brunch. Got chicken and biscuits, chili, chicken with fries, and loaded hash. Chicken was overdone on both dishes. It’s deep fried and the color was almost dark rust. It made the chicken dry. Sausage gravy for the chicken and biscuits was thick. I prefer a runnier sauce that doesn’t thicken so easily. Fries for the chicken and fries were addictive. Being a shoestring cut, they were very easy to over eat! Chili looked homemade. My 12 year old found it spicy but she was warned by the staff that the dish had a little kick. The loaded hash was very tasty and super filling."
