"I was out walking around getting my steps in and checking out the snowfall in town (Oak Harbor, WA) while on my way to my favorite watering hole “Krakens Cove” to chat with my friends. Unfortunately, the nasty weather didn’t allow Krakens Cove to open today. So, after scratching my head to decide where to go, I decided to stop at Noe Jose inside Harborside Village on Pioneer. I wish I could say the food here reminds me of Mexico, it is very good! But, I wouldn’t know because I’ve never been in Mexico. So, I guess I’ll just have to say that the food here is great! I ordered the chimichanga, because like they said on tv’s “Two and a half Men”, it’s so much fun to say!! I ordered my chimichanga made with chicken. I barely had time to get settled in and my server was delivering my food! Quick, efficient service! The meal included rice and beans with a little sour cream and shredded lettuce on the side. There was also two squeeze bottle of homemade sauce, red sauce and green sauce. I preferred the flavor of the green sauce, but thought both were tasty."

"A friendly, family owned cafe with great food - authentic Mexican and American comfort food. From a Chimmichanga to a bowl of clam chowder with a full service bar. Reasonable prices, fast service. Always treated like a member of the family. Had a breakfast get-together there for 25 after our Dad's memorial. It is our go-to date place, and we stop in frequently."

"The food here was good, but not great. This was standard American style Mexican food. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing was fantastic either. Honestly, I do not know that this place has a reasonable value proposition. It was around €20 per plate. They seem like nice people, but please focus on adding that extra "oomph" or flavor to dishes. I am sure there are sauces or just something that would make the dishes here irresistible (or at least something I would return for)."

"If you like Taco Bell, then maybe this might not be the place for you. The food here is as authentic as you can get. The enchiladas were delicious. The chicken was flavorful. The beans and rice were amazing. The flan was sweet and delicious. Do yourself a favor and just come in. You will be greeted and taken care of like family. Sorry about the photo, but I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take it before I ate."
