"Matthew’s has great BBQ! We recently moved from Texas and excited to have good tasting BBQ on the island! Great Brisket and Sausage and their sides are delicious! Still going back to try more. Great location with nice views and plenty of seating with a full bar. Two large TVs for any sport fans!"

"Everything was good, the brisket, the pulled pork, the ribs and the blue cheese hamburger. The mac and cheese phenomenal, as well as the bbq sauce, place is clean and the service is good and all for reasonable price!"

"The brisket was better than at my wedding at Roche Harbor. But still not as good as in Texas, so I have it pretty hard being from there. Overall, I did enjoy it. The ribs were probably the best, pull off the bone. The outside patio and view were great. The hornets are really bad this year so they swarmed our food and got a couple bits of meat then went on their way. No point in fighting them."

"Order at the counter, get a number and have your food delivered to your table, bus your table when you're done. I loved that they allow dogs outside on the grass. Our pulled pork sandwich and fries came out kind of cold, so that was kind of a bummer. And I thought it was odd that they have black beans rather than baked beans, to better fit their BBQ theme. Overall, a pretty good place. Also the live music was absolutely lovely."

"The venue is really great with all sorts of lawn games and picnic tables. Sadly the food was really mediocre. The brisket was dry and overly salty. Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box and collard greens were meh. My fish taco was paltry (wish I had gotten a sad photo). There aren’t too many dining options on this side of the island however."
