Bluewater Bay Campground

"Nice place to camp, dogs allowed. Just kind of rocky, and know that there are a couple birds in the area that are quite noisy."

"Campsites are large. Strictly non-electric "to keep it quiet and peaceful," however they had a Kubota tractor running at 9am and you can still hear the highway traffic. The bathrooms are also terrible. No soap in the restrooms and the showers are the type you have to push a button continuously for water to come out. The showers are nearly impossible to use if you have long hair."

"Naturewise this area is beautiful, really nice campsites, quiet with decent level of privacy. The only thing which we didn't like - restrooms, those are terrible."

"It would have been a higher rating if the flush toilets and showers had been repaired before our visit instead of closed for the season. I do not recommend swimming as the water is just nasty. But the campsites are large and flat. They have a firepit with a grate which is nice."

"Love Mirror Lake Park, but prefer other campground to Bluewater Bay. Major perk of this campground is that it's fairly close to the docks area. But the campground had little ro no privacy--I could perfectly hear three of the families around us talk at normal levels, as well as see them. Still had fun camping, but for me part of camping is being able to have a little solitude sometimes."
