"I love this little spot in Sauk City. There's easy access to the river. It's a good spot to bring your dogs for a walk. There's plenty of room in the parking lot as well as some disabled spots closer to the water. It's usually pretty quiet here so there's plenty of space to go exploring without bumping into someone else."
"This is a fairly good landing, with a fair amount of parking in the turnaround as well as a sizable lot for cars parked during a paddle. The only drawback to this spot is that there is a sizable sandbar one has to drag boats over in lower water conditions. At medium to high water, this is a good launching point for a lower Wisconsin River paddle."
"This place is great my girl my puppy and I had a great time. The sand bar is plenty big so you can go out a ways and still touch bottom the current is not strong at all there is lots of sand beach and open space. It is never crowded but a great place to meet good people. I highly recommend a visit and I will for sure be coming back!"
