"Great selection however the staff was rather off-putting. My wife is a knitter and I was there for holiday shopping. I asked for help and wasn't treated very well. If you know what you want, great place, if you need help, go elsewhere since the staff is rude. It's a shame since this is a quality location. I'd rather go to Verona for the friendly staff there."

"The yarn is nice but pricey (expected for higher end yarn). Was greeted with a hello when I walked in. Found a few Hanks, went to purchase at counter ( was the only person in the store). One employee was having lunch off to the side , and the other went in the back kitchen area. I waited at the counter for a good long time. Finally after several minutes, the employee having her lunch finally asked if u was ready to check out . Not a very personable place to shop. Unfortunately, won't be back."

"Pros: -Beautiful Store.Location. -Wide variety of yarn. -They offer Classes. -Many projects/samples to view. Ask if tag is missing on a sample. It happens. -Allot of sock yarns from varied producers. -They have a podcast on YouTube. Newsletter, FB page and Instagram. Very connected. -Have knit nights (wkday eve after hour get togethers) Cons: -Often not large sweater/cardigan qty in stock. -Would like to see more WI grown/Farmers yarns/local producers sold. -No Karbonz Circular needles. Arggg. -Prices are up there. Be prepared for high markups. Overhead I bet bits in that zip code. -This shop has knowledgeable staff always 2 people. Helpful and snap right up if needed. I myself like that I am not ambushed at the door and able to browse. I am Not keen on gushy sales pressure. This place is just right. If you are looking for a warm fuzzy gushy chatty vibe, not likely here. I suggest if you are a newbie not to be shy, ask, ask, ask for what you need or insist on the info you require. Bring a pattern and collect yarn, spread it out on the table and play until you 'feel it'. I find Many knitters more or less know what they are looking for and are there on a hunting mission. In the see, squish,plan, execute jaunt or to take in the yarn stimulus in peace. If you feel unattended to or ignored it is probably not the owners aim, not at all on purpose. The nature of the clientele comfort zone is the same in most stores. I truly believe that anyone needing information will get it and more with a simple 'can you please help me'. It goes a long way. That being said it is located in a affluent area and that on the spot, car, attire, pocketbook opinion judgey stuff BS is bound to happen. I myself have waited in line in my jeans, tshirt, loafers, no purse, no makeup, no bling and find I am looked at in a dismissive way. Just let it roll off your back. You are a knitter in for a fix not a model there to find an agent!!! Is always interesting when I buy $500-$700 in project lots and walk back to my junker runner car. People are what they are."
