"Friendly and fast, quality of clean is fine, but very expensive for the services received. For $70 per hour/per person ($500 total for a deep clean), we thought would get more items/rooms cleaned and that the clean would be more thorough. My sister got her entire 4-bedroom house cleaned for this much in St. Paul, while we had only our living/dining area, kitchen, one bathroom done. We've never hired a cleaning service before and perhaps we had too high of expectations, but it feels like we were cheated. For instance, the kitchen table top was washed, but the sides and base still have spilled milk on them. Portions of the hardwood floor were washed, but around/under the kitchen table was not (nor dining room floorboards) and the kitchen counter looked good until we moved items and their were spots underneath. Other issues were scheduling and the poor communication upon arrival. Marianne rescheduled the day-of, pushed the next agreed upon time back an hour, and then was 20 minutes late for that new time…with three toddlers at home, it is tough to juggle a constantly changing house call when we need to vacate the residence for the service. When she finally arrived, Marianne appeared very rushed, perhaps she and her team were overbooked or late for another appointment? The person who took our appointment (named Mary), said we'd walk through each room together first and discuss what we wanted done and estimate time/cost. We tried to initiate this when Marianne arrived, but she didn’t seem interested in figuring out our priorities, and it felt like she and her team were on the clock right away. We tried to give specifics during this brief conversation and she kept giving affirmations, but in hindsight, she was already rushing around, cleaning and was pretty dismissive - we should not have trusted that conversation, which is our mistake. Our priorities we’re not heard and with our family/work schedule on this newly scheduled cleaning appointment, we were not able do a final walk-through. In the future, maybe someone should stop by beforehand to assess the space and required services so that the time estimate and dollar amount can be established beforehand. We will also be less trusting and allot enough time to do a final walk-through to make sure services are received for the price. My wife is scrubbing our baseboards now as we company arrives tomorrow...sorry for the novel, but we've never had a cleaning service before and and we feel like this was not a great result for the stress and money."

"I hired Marianne's Professional Cleaning to do what their website described as a "Deep Clean" in my family's new house. I was quoted a rate that seemed reasonable without prior knowledge of any other cleaning services. I picked Marianne's based on Google reviews alone, which in hindsight was a bad idea, it is extremely sketchy that they only have 5 star reviews on Google and nothing else. On the day of the appointment, the team showed up late and seemed to have had no knowledge of prior conversations about what was to be cleaned. I was not watching every moment of them cleaning, but every time I checked in on the cleaners it didn't seem like much progress had been made. After cleaning, the company then stored cleaning supplies in our house for 3 days, which wasn't an issue so much as it was inconvenient. They struggled to communicate even a rough timeframe of when they would be able to come pick up their equipment, causing me to have to stay anchored to home to be ready to let them in when they finally showed up. When they came back to pick up the cleaning supplies, I tried to bring up some things and show them pictures of things that seemed like they should have been cleaned in their "deep clean", but were left dirty. I was met with an unwarranted combative attitude and any issue brought up to the owners would lead back to something that was irrelevant to the original issue. After they left I could not get a hold of anyone to help me get a breakdown of what they did. It took them 3 weeks to even call me about charges and it was only because they charged me significantly more than what was put aside for the cleaning based on the prior original quote. I had stated multiple times through phone calls, texts, and in person that I would like a breakdown of the cleaning, and I never got one. On the phone I was told that they could not provide a breakdown because they did not keep track of a breakdown. They citied an e-mailed cleaning service agreement as an excuse as to why they did not do what I thought the agreed upon work/terms were based on prior conversation, which came off as extremely manipulative. I was told because I did not directly say to do something, even though it was part of the "deep clean" described on their website, that it is not their fault that it did not get done. Every issue and concern brought up over the final phone call/bill was met with a dismissive attitude and indifference. In the end, I paid the requested total, even though it does not match the level of work done. For how much it cost, I should not have had to deal with the issues I did, and my house should be far cleaner than it is."

"I used Marianne's Professional Cleaning service to Deep Clean my 85 year old mother's 3500 square foot home to get it ready for sale. My mom and dad lived in this home for 50 years. She sent a team of five people who did an outstanding job, they are the real deal.The team was efficient, respectful, hardworking, meticulous. The team communicated any questions or concerns throughout the engagement. The old cement basement was pretty disgusting and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I don't know how they made it look so clean and spotless. They removed fixtures and cleaned them along with washing windows, would work, walls, floors, stove, refrigerator, cupboards, shelves, just a good scrubbing down of the entire house. The house hasn't looked this good in years. I was so impressed by their work i am now going to employ them to do bi-weekly cleaning of the new house my mother moved into.
