"My review comes in the form of a story, because I love stories, especially about the past, and my experience at Gallun Fine Jewelry involves a few stories. My family came to the US as refugees after WW2, with pretty much the clothes on their backs- for sure no heirloom jewelry, and the European set engagement ring of my mom’s was lost somewhere along the line. I have long dreamt of finding something simple and pretty that reminded me of that ring, and her, and was thrilled to find one at Patty’s lovely shop. Patty is the kind of person that makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever, which made my experience so special and meaningful. And I especially love that she too, is a storyteller. I like the idea of preowned jewelry for many reasons, including the idea that there might be an interesting story to my ring. Patty admitted there wasn’t that she knew of , but together we concluded that it might have involved a lady named Sadie. I'm good with that, and I’m thrilled with my ring (and my resized wedding band too). I highly recommend this business and will definitely return. The end."
