"Very unprofessional firm. They would not provide tax submission confirmation prior to paying invoice, which was odd. Even told us to pay the invoice and then we will provide them! We have always taken the invoice right off the refund with no problems. Since we (still) haven't received our refund from the IRS, made us question why we didn't get submission and confirmation information. Their online account feature has all the folders for these documents, but the firm elected not upload them for some reason? A soon as we received the information we paid immediately."

"Based on their website reviews, and the owner's initial welcoming response to me as a potential client, I've been trying my best to obtain services from AM Accounting for a little over a year. It seems they don't want me as a client. But I have no idea why. Getting them to respond to emails or to return calls in order to answer accounting questions or even set up appointments has been very difficult for me. I shouldn't have to work this hard in order to theoretically pay for services. But what really gets me is the advice she gave several months ago (a few unresponded-to mails and phone calls ago). She clearly stated that I don't have to make ES tax payments as sole owner of an s corp receiving distributions. She was wrong. I was lucky to find out and confirm through other sources that I'd better pay ES tax if I don't want to pay some nice penalties later on. Update: I was contacted by the owner immediately after posting the above review, who was apparently very upset. I understand. And I think Am Accounting probably makes a lot of customers happy. In my case, that didn't happen. While the above review is completely true, perhaps it is fair to suggest I might have mistaken what services Am Accounting actually offers. But if Am Accounting does not offer the sort of consulting I was seeking, somebody there probably should have spoken up as a professional and said so, instead of leaving me hanging with important questions, and wondering where to go for help next. So I'm afraid my 2-star rating stays."
