"I want to clarify that the tech deserves 5 stars but this particular review is specifically for the higher ups and their out of date policies and refusal to accommodate the customer. The technician was very friendly and even explained everything he did, showed me the video he took, and explained the location of the pipes that were clogged and a specific section that could be replaced. Now the review for the "higher ups". It's 2024 and this particular office in Oregon, Wi said they don't take cards in person or even over the phone. The woman who scheduled the appointment and gave me a call the day of failed to mention they only accepted cash or checks. The tech was super nice but said the higher ups are "old school" and don't take card payments. If that's the case, l'll make sure to not use that particular office again."

"I was staying with my parents when Roto Rooter came out to their house. It appeared something was clogged, so they were looking into it. At one point, they removed the sewage caps (that are securely inserted so they must be manually removed, and even have a back up cap so they can't fall off) but he forgot to put them back on. Their basement flooded with sewage! It was horrible. My mom was crying, my younger brother accidentally walked down into it and got it all over his legs and bare feet. The worst part? They say the caps must have "accidentally popped off" and that they had nothing to do with it! All of the damage to my parent's home, and yet Roto Rooter refuses to file an insurance claim (they don't even personally have to pay - just allow their insurance to file the claim!). A company who ruins people's homes, my childhood belongings, gifts my Nanna who just passed away gave us, the walls and floors and just everything -- and then doesn't take responsibility for their mistake -- a company like this shouldn't be in business. Please don't use this company. I don't want the same loss to happen to you."
