"Make absolute sure what they are going to charge you for preparing your taxes!!!! I have been a client of theirs for 3 years now. Last year I was told that as a loyal customer my cost should go down significantly and in fact it did not, it went up. I was not told at the time what the cost would be, and after the fact when I got my refund and realized I was charged more, I was told it was because they used to be a franchise and are not now. Had I known that they were going to charge almost $400 I would have never proceeded. Very disappointed with them and will never again use H&R block for my tax preparation"

"The reason for the score is because I've been an H&R Block customer all of my life. Therefore, if it's not broke, don't fix it. My taxes are pretty much cut and dry.
