"My wife and i are from out of town and we were in the market for a new combi unit. A friend of mine had recommended i give Harkins a chance to earn our business. I called Harkins on a Wednesday and left a message. Jim called back the following Thursday and was very helpful about recommendations for the project. He stopped over shortly after to look at everything and gave us a very fair estimate. We decided to proceed with the install and he ordered everything that same day. A few days later Jim had an opening in his schedule and we set the install for that day. He arrived promptly on the date we set-up with another young man, Baxter, and they both got to work right away. Both Jim and Baxter were very friendly and professional. They worked quickly and handled any obstacles easily. Jim has been plumbing for over 40 years now and his expierence shows in his work. He was also mentoring Baxter with patience and kindness which i felt was very refreshing these days. They were very helpful in answering any of my questions and Jim even offered to install a water softner i had purchased elsewhere. The install took a little over a day with tear out, re-routing the majority of the lines, installation and set-up. Jim was knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process and even took some time to go over everything with me and make sure i fully understood the units functionality. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with the work Harkins did and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for service."
