"My husband and I ordered garage doors plus installation this fall. The doors came and they set a date to install, but then had to postpone installing for a couple of weeks because they found out they needed defferent tracks. Nothing was ever mentioned of a change to our quoted price. The doors look awesome and function well, but we were surprised when we were billed $345 more than our original quote. We called and asked for an invoice with the charges broken down (since there was only a total cost on the invoice), and they said they would mail it to us that day. After a week and a half of not receiving anything, my husband stopped in to see if we could get the updated invoice. We found out the additional $345 was from the track conversation kit that had to be ordered. We are disappointed that $345 was assumed to be no big deal. Nobody communicated with us to say that an additional cost would be needed for installation. Had we originally known that it was going to cost this much extra, we would have installed the doors ourselves. When we called to ask about this additional fee, we were talked to very rudely and blame was placed on us. No effort to make it right or to even just apologize was made. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but if we did it all again, I think we'd just go to Menards."
