"Port Vet is wonderful! My dog was having issues with her digestive track and they got her right in. Within minutes Dr. AnnMarie had my dog diagnosed and on her way to recovery! I can’t thank Dr. AnnMarie and her caring, wonderful staff enough for saving my little dog’s life!"
"Dr. Dittmar has cared for my animals for well over 20 years. A more caring vet you cannot find. Love you Annamarie!"
"Awesome staff, very excellent service. They took great care of our little beast. Thank you SO MUCH !"
"Please think carefully before taking your pet here. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I'm writing this because people need to know. I don't want any one else's pet to die due to lack of adequate care experienced here, and if I can help one pet/person it's worth it. I took my cat here because it was very close, and also happened to be reasonably priced. This had always been my cat's vet, for many years. Dr. Dittmar and the staff is friendly and humorous, but those are the only positive things I can say. My 9 year old cat passed away unexpectedly after being seen by the vet only 8 days prior. She had also been seen a month before that. 9 isn't old for a cat. In neither appointment did Dr. Dittmar seem to be concerned that my cat may be experiencing something life threatening, so neither was I. I trusted her. My cat had been acting normal the week prior to her sudden unexpected passing. I believe something serious was overlooked. The vet never recommended blood work of any kind for my cat. I feel as though the exams are rushed and not thorough. The vet also gives injections without informing what they are, or any possible side effects, beforehand. My cat received Depo-Medrol and Convenia injections at her last visit. If you google Convenia, you will also find many negative experiences. Convenia is a long-lasting antibiotic injection, which can not be stopped (unlike oral medication) if your pet has an adverse reaction to it, something I wish I knew before it was administered to my cat. I'm not the only one with a terrible experience. Do some googling and you will find out about multiple cases where she was brought against the veterinary examining board. I wish I knew about that before taking my cat here. I would highly, highly suggest avoiding this place."
"Annmarie is an awesome vet!! I travel a long distance to her clinic because she's great with our 3 dogs and 3 cats and at a reasonable price!!"
