"My first time working with them or any HVAC service company for that matter. I called and enquired if they could come out and check the vents in the basement as we couldn't feel any air coming out. Was informed that it would be $110 to come out and I said okay and setup a date. The day comes and the service guy shows up, finds that the supply 'pipes' were not held in place over the vents. He took the vents off and adjusted the pipes. He then spent close to 30 mins on one ceiling vent cause he couldn't find a way to screw it back it and finally MacGyver'd it. How do I know? Because I was with him the whole time as I wanted to know what was wrong with the HVAC. He spent about an hour total. Then it was time to pay and he tells me the total is $260. I asked for the breakup and was informed that $110 was to come out and $150 is the hourly labor rate. I was astonished. I wasn't informed about this $150 hourly rate. I would think they'd inform me of this because they'd asked if I had reached out to them before when I was setting up my appt and I confirmed that it was my first time. He spent time fixing something he messed up and I still had to pay for it? Seemed excessive. Probably not going to call them again unless I have an emergency and can't find anyone else to come out."
