"I cannot believe this place! How tyrannical can you be when you cancel my dogs prescriptive bladder infection preventative food, WITHOUT a phone call or a heads up AT ALL. So now my dog does not have & cannot get her food & has a bladder infection, caused by the lack of communication & tyranny of this vets office! They could have called me & said, “ we are going to approve this food order, but we have to have her in for a well visit to approve the next one.” But , NOPE, they denied the order without any notice & caused my dog to get a bladder infection! Please tell me why we would EVER go here again! She had to go with different food on the fly and now she has a bladder infection caused by her vets office! That’s not in the best interest of your client or their pets!!! Completely unprofessional & inconsiderate ! I will be sending them the vet bill because THeY caused her infection!"

I have never had a bad experience and with Pennys health concerns we are there quite often. All of the techs have truly made a tough time so much more bearable and I am extremely thankful for them. "I am very pleased with my latest visit to Bark River! My dog is working on his social skills as he is a rescue and normally barks a couple times at new people. The vet tech David had no problems with him! He got down on Berkeleys level and showed him he wasn’t afraid. I was shocked that Berkeley did not bark one time, gave David kisses, and let him put his bandana on! It was clear he was comfortable in his care. Highly recommend!"

"We recently moved to the area and were in search of a new vet for our 9 year old pup. Sadly, our dog contracted Lymes & got sick, so our first interaction with Bark River was with a sick pup and nervous parents. Not only were they attentive and caring, but they were so patient with me. Never having a sick dog before, or dealing with administering meds, etc... I've called up there at least 3 times this past week to ask questions or share concerns, and they are always compassionate, give guidance and listen. When we were trying to decide next steps in treatment, they gave me multiple options with details on each, and price points so you always know what you have to prepare for. I've never felt rushed or not heard - which is so important. They not only cared for our fur-babe Ava, but they've cared for me.
