"Oh hey there, just gotta say, that vet place? Not what you’d hope for, ya know? Walk in and whoof, the smell hits ya. Then ya look up and see bugs crawling around the ceiling window – yup, roaches. And the noise, geez, dogs barking left and right, feels pretty darn chaotic. And get this, they’re charging $120 just to take a peek at your pet. That’s nearly double what most Minnesota vets ask for. Last year, it was 98 bucks, and now, poof, up to $120 without a heads up or anything. Think about how that feels for your furry friend, with all that racket and the smells. Plus, the surprise price hike? Nah, doesn’t sit right with me. I’d say skip this place, for your wallet and your pet’s sake. There’s gotta be better spots out there, don’tcha know."

"I've had nothing but good experiences with every staff member that I've interacted with. They were able to fit my pup in for surgery with only a weeks notice and when I brought her in, they noticed something else she would need surgery on. They were able to do everything she needed all in that one visit, sparing her an extra dose of anesthesia and extra stress. I've met with a couple of the vets and they were both patient with me, answering any questions I had, breaking down prices, and treated my pup with love and care."

"This place is a real diamond in the rough so to speak. They don’t have a fancy lobby or stuff like that but the staff are friendly, reliable, compassionate and offer you honest information. They have always been available for my pets at short notice, if not the same day the very next day."

"We had to put our dog down due to age and cancer, and the entire staff was just so sympathetic and empathetic. You could tell they really cared and felt for us, and especially when making such a difficult decision having that support and empathy made it much easier, albeit no less painful. We never felt rushed or pressured at any point. The service was reasonably priced and overall it was a good experience in a bad situation."

"IF I COULD RATE NEGATIVE I WOULD. Just a year and a half ago we had brought our 3 week old kitten there to get a normal evaluation as we had just got him and he was very very young so we wanted to make sure everything was okay with him. Keep in mind he had been walking for maybe a week and a half at this point. We enter the hospital and are met with some friendly receptionists who gladly take some information of ours and wait for the doctor. In the doctor visit we were told that he had rabies, a non developed brain, and possibly had some broken bones due to the fact that he was stumbling a little. We were also told by the doctor that we would need to go to the U of M Veterinary Specialists and get him treated for all the things wrong which would cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Here we are today, year and a half later and he has been perfectly fine with absolutely ZERO issues. Since then we have brought him to Southview Animal Hospital in West St. Paul off Robert St. and they have been nothing but amazing to us. Do not recommend this hospital to anyone."
