"Unbelievably horrible. Stopped to make payments on two credit cards and the worthless teller struggled so bad . Had to make calls, waste at least 15 min of my time and in the end I just left. You'd think someone would be concerned with the ratings they're getting here but no, they're more concerned with diversity. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere"

"How were you guys voted the best branch or whatever you advertise? Hands down the worst summit to deal with. Literally the only one I consistently have issues with but then call a Madison location right after and have zero issues. 100% done dealing with this location bc every other summit I have no issues with."

"We are very disappointed in Summit CU. We had been given a Summit CU referral by a real estate professional, but the recommended person was not available or gone. So, the Summit supervisor handed us off to a different person. We were looking for mortgage products. Summit knew that by the emails and contacts. We set up an appointment, and when we arrived we got a person obviously clueless about our described situation. The person we got was not aware of our appointment despite emailing us that they were, and then was late and had not done any preparation. We go some kind of universal senior banker, whatever that means, perhaps knowledgeable of consumer products, but in no way able to help us with our mortgage needs other than by saying they would get us to a real mortgage person at some point. Oh my. We went in for a mortgage product, and we got a generalist banker who would have us come again at a later time. Summit CU came across unprofessional, unqualified, and unprepared. We later in the day got a voicemail from a real mortgage person at Summit, but by then it was too late. Plus, Summit was not even hungry for the business as this person did not even try again nor even give us a name. The service from this branch ranks as the most pathetic I have received ever from a financial institution. 99% of the time I write five star reviews, but feel strongly compelled to write this one. Maybe they had a bad day and this was a one off, but it could also mean something is off base here big time."

"Summit Credit Union is NOT Business Customer Focused At All! They could care less about the needs of our small business. Their policies are to extract as much fees and ridiculous rules as they can. Business deposits have a 7-day HOLD .... Why? Small business need cash flow, we cannot wait for 7-business days, thats 1.5 weeks. Electronic transfers are limited to $1000/day and $5000/month. Why? If I need more than this they charge a $25 fee for transferring money to our business accounts. What a joke. I strongly recommend everyone find banking services designed for customer ease of business. The days of multiple banking fees are gone Summit. We will be taking our personal family accounts and all our business accounts elsewhere. Thanks for the reply ….. it’s been 4 days now and no one from my branch reached out to me ….. nice try but your attention to business customers does NOT exist."

"Worked with Steve Hanson to discuss a mortgage. He went ahead and pulled my and my girlfriend's (who he literally never spoke to or made any contact with) credit without consent. We never signed anything and were not ready. I'm pretty sure that's illegal. They say they can't fix it, so we have to live with the hit to our credit scores. Really unprofessional."
