"The tellers at the drive-thru have always been fast, friendly, and professional. However... My name is Karen™, and I want to speak to the management. The condition of the pavement at the drive-through is disgraceful. Frankly, I find it insulting to the residents of the neighborhood, as if they don't deserve to have nice things. In addition, this branch has done a poor job of communicating its new procedures and hours during COVID-19. (Granted, I don't know whether this is typical of what's going on at the other branches.) If you call the branch, you'll get a recorded message giving the pre-COVID drive-thru hours. The pre-COVID hours are etched on the glass at the drive-thru; how hard would it be to cover them up with a piece of paper, perhaps affixed with a piece of tape? For that matter, the COVID-19 hours could even be written on the paper! Yes, I'm aware that there's already a piece of paper explaining that the drive-thru now closes at 4:00 p.m., but that crucial nugget of information is buried in a lot of fine print ("Your safety is important to us," yadda yadda yadda)."
"Racist. They didn't believe that the BMO Harris check from our insurance company was real, so they didn't allow my husband to cash it. It's the company's policy to confirm the check but Jakob didn't even attempt to do that. I called our insurance company after we left, and they said Jakob refused to provide the information needed to confirm the check. Never dealing with them again. He was suspicious of us the moment we handed him the check and kept looking at my husband. We thought it would be more convenient for us instead of driving far to get to our credit union to deposit it, as it is a BMO Harris bank check, but the drive is worth it. We've never had this problem at any other bank. Racial discrimination. I'm sickened. Update: We drove to the BMO Harris in Fox Point to see if they'd have the same issue there, and we were in and out in 5 minutes. The teller was able to call our insurance company and confirm the check without any issues."
"Very bad customer service. I had to wait 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged me in the drive-thru (and that was after I hit the call button) and it was clear that I was an inconvenience to the teller. She also huffed when I asked for a pen to fill out the withdrawal slip..."
"The lady that answered the phone kept me on hold for about 5 minutes, then proceeded to tell me that they are too busy to help me at this time, and that I should call back later. All I wanted was the balance on my HSA account. In the time she spent telling me that she cannot help right now, she could have helped me. She DID give me another number to call, but seemed pointless."
"This is my local branch. I recently left this bank and moved all of my families assets to Chase bank because of the constant problems we have been having. It took me 2 months to get them to close my credit card account. Then once it was closed they first said I owed on the account. Then they said no they owed me $260 on the account. Then over 3 more months of calling them every 3 days they sent me a check for $158 instead. I am still working with them to send me a check for the proper amount. Their customer service is horrible. Their tellers are nice and friendly, but the supervisors that direct them are poorly trained."
