"I have not been to the eye doc since 2012 and needless to say, I should have been back long before now. Type 1 diabetes has made it extremely difficult to read anything at an arms length away. I was given a pair of bifocals back when I went and ended up losing them a year after.. That being said I completely said screw it and went on with my life. As soon as I walk in the eye doctor had my results and prescription numbers from 2012 on the counter and was matching them to what they are now. I don't even know how she got those! She explained EVERYTHING to me in a way that was not over my head or too complex for my Army Infantry brain. This doctor was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. Most of all, she made herself relatable to what I'm going through. GREAT patient interaction. That goes for EVERYONE in the store. They ALL knew what their place was and what their job entailed. I could t ask for anything more. I have never written a review as long as this one, but with everything from the first interaction to the "we will call you in 10-14 days. Have a great weekend" I felt inclined to let everyone know just how great ShopKo Optical was with my experience today. I look forward to my call back to pick up my glasses in two weeks.
