"I take my colicky newborn to see her maybe once or twice a week (starting at about 5weeks) and it really has helped him out immensely. At first I thought I found some sort of baby whisperer, because he woke up the next day (after sleeping for 8 hours straight!) and was a completely different baby. For once, he was awake and not miserable. We had a lot of firsts that day; first smile, full night sleep, not waking up crying, and even sleeping in his bassinet. I was so happy to finally see him like this, it did wonders for my postpartum mental state of mind. I would highly recommend trying this for your colicky infant because even if that isn't what is going on, it is extremely gentle and non-invasive. So much that I had no idea she was already working on him, I literally thought she was just assessing him. He didn't even cry the entire visit, which was a very long stretch for him. I would also like to make sure I state that it wasn't a total fix after one visit, he regressed from his happy state to being miserable within a few days. But I can almost always count on his good days being the ones following our appointments. I'm so happy we tried this, and although it may not be the answer for everyone. I would try it if your struggling like I was. He is 7 weeks old and supposed to be at the peak of his colic and over-all it has been his best yet."
