"It is appalling to me that someone like Dr. Kuntz is allowed to treat people at the most vulnerable time of their lives. In my first appointment with Dr. Kuntz, he showed his true colors. He showed no interest in learning my background and was very condescending. He felt it was more important to explain to me all of the ways I could be kicked out of the program rather than having a dialogue with me. When I called in the next day because I was sick with a sinus infection, he said "You've only been here 24 hours and you're already stinking up the joint." He is callous, egocentric and has no business in the mental health field. I was in a very bad place and he's lucky that his treatment of me didn't push me over the edge. I'm so grateful that I joined the Rogers Brown Deer location instead and can't say enough great things about that location. Stay far away from the Madison location unless you enjoy being verbally abused by your psychiatrist."

"After feeling I could trust Dr. Kuntz, I felt that I could be honest with him. When I let him know that the new counselor wasn’t very receptive of my needs, and simply not a good fit for me. Dr. Kuntz, invalidated my feelings by saying that I was the only person that has ever said that about this particular therapist. And then when I had no response to his comment. He looked me in the eye and said “can you accept that, can you hear that you are the only one that feels that way?” I then lost all confidence in him. I could write more, but this shall have to suffice."
