He quoted me an unusually high price for doing several years of taxes and after I paid the full amount, he blatantly lied about the scope of work and refused to do it. I have proof of his lies and am making complaints with the California Franchise Tax Board & the IRS. If you do business with this liar, be sure you record ALL dealings with him because he will lie when he loses interest in a client, then he'll keep the stolen fees. I will also be suing this lying thief."

"I've been a customer since 2013. We use James Accounting Service for both our business and personal tax returns. We are a small manufacturing business of 9 employees in South El Monte CA. James caters to small mom and pop businesses like us. He's affordable and adept to the newest state and federal tax codes. He's local to the IE and often drives to our facility 30 miles away to perform quarterly QB reconciliation. He's a soft spoken guy and easy to get along with . Most of all he's professional which is the most important attribute in my opinion. Because when you're hiring a tax preparer and bookkeeper, you want and expect professionalism and quality. He provides this level of service for us and that's why we continue to utilize his services. Lastly I appreciate that he's knowledgeable and up to date on recent tax codes. This is critical when considering whom you want preparing your returns or reconciling your QuickBooks. That's largely why I also use him for my personal returns too.
