"I’ve been going to WESTconsin since I was 17 years old, and they have been absolutely AMAZING through every stage, and change, of my life! They helped “get the ball rolling” on my credit score at a very young age, which allowed me to quickly advance in my adult years. They’ve assisted me with nearly every service they offer, and have always been very understanding, kind, and considerate — all staff at EVERY location I’ve visited. They truly care about their members, and won’t hesitate to follow-up with you, schedule an appointment with you, and “advise” you on your finances. Unlike many other financial institutions, WESTconsin is very timely and attentive with their service(s). If you NEED something done quickly, they will do the absolute most to ensure that it is done, or finalized, the same day. I’ve never been left wondering when my card(s) will arrive, when my documents will be submitted, etc. I hope WESTconsin continues to grow and expand, as I will ALWAYS choose them first. Their locations are all on the WEST side of the state (which makes complete sense in regard to the name), but I do hope that they open a central/eastern location someday. I’d love to be able to stop in-person more often!"

"The second time they bought me insurance due to paperwork issues and had to refund it. They are the worst lender I've dealt with. For the low cost of 5,000 a year they'll give you car insurance. After a dozen emails and attempts to get them what they want they refunded my money back when they were satisfied with the fact I've had insurance for the life of my loan. But still charged me for it a week after my insurance lender dealt with them directly on my behalf. My full coverage with Geico is 540$ for 6months. You can see based off the price Westconsin is not looking out for there consumers best interest when they're charging 440% of a market approved rate to there lenders and charging it against the loan with interest. I did not have to pay a dime for this and I'm not writing because it cost me money. But the predatory lending of 440% markups on insurance and a month of back and forth to deal with this issue (twice on two loans) is unacceptable."

When I needed a safe place for my money and no one else would give me a chance your credit union did and that’s a plus as a manager, I know that we have to have great judgement skills and this is one thing I look at in a valuable business, A business that cares about committing to the customers. "I needed a checking account for a non profit group I was heading. My bank couldn't offer it free so I was referred here from the org. I figured since it wasn't going to be my primary banking and only using it when needed. I have set up multiple accounts from several different banks. I have no issues with the way the place operates per say, but here are some of the reasons I give it one start. -never once have I ever been able to call and talk to a person without waiting 20 mins or more on hold or waiting several hours for a call back. I feel this is acceptable at certain times, but this has been every time I have contacted them. -online banking has never been able to be set up- I found out later it was because the rep who set up the account punched in some numbers wrong so when I always tried to use what I had it never worked -I don't know if it's computers or the people, but simple deposits take an exceptionally long time. Drive through isn't too bad, but there have been times where I wondered what they were doing.... -I don't feel the employees are trained well in observation. I was waiting in line and twice while I was in line other customers walked right in front of me and they serviced them. I said something and they told me they just help whoever gets up to the counter..... If these things don't bother you than I think you will be good, but for me it's not a place I would recommend to friends......"
