"I enrolled 2 of my boys in 12 trial lessons over the summer. My 14 year old for the upright bass and my 9 year old for piano. My 9 year old requires extra patience as he gets easily distracted, Lori has been able to figure out how to motivate and encourage him without ever pushing so hard that he shuts down. Our summer trials went so well that I decided to enroll them in weekly lessons. I also enroll my 12 year old in piano. Lori has been super supportive and encouraging to all them, figuring out how they learn best and meeting them where they are. When my 12 year old was improving and growing out of the keyboard we have at home, Lori gave us a lead on a nice piano. My 9 year old on in piano because wants to play percussion when he gets older, schools require piano lessons. It works out well that Joshua offers drum lessons. He has even been willing to check in on my 9 year old to see if he's ready to start some drumming lessons. The studio has a very welcoming feeling. With 3 lessons in a row we are there for 1.5 hours. There are a couple comfortable chairs and even a lego table for kids to play at while they wait for their turn. After hearing how awesome Ringen Music Studios is, my nephew is signed up to start ukulele lessons next month."

"Our daughter took drum lessons from Josh and learned so much in just one summer. He was so patient with her and gave great tips and tricks for mastering correct technique. She loved trying to play along to a song, and it really helped her learn to listen for the beat and to stay focused. His suggestions for how she could practice at home were also very helpful, as she always knew what to work on for the next lesson. She is loving playing percussion in her school band thanks to Josh's excellent instruction, which helped her feel prepared and confident."

We participated in Music Together classes in Massachusetts with my older daughter and we were disappointed that they were not offered in the Rochester area when we first moved here. This is such a great music experience for babies/toddlers/little kids! My 2 year old son loves the class and we have a great time singing the songs at home too!"
