"this is a cute little garden, it’s nice as a part of Polliwog Park but if i’d driven just to see it i’d probably be a little disappointed, it’s pretty small and as of february there isn’t many flowers, mostly bushes. we did see some lizards though and there’s a little waterfall which is cute."
"Parking is not well noted for this. But if you follow the map directions and look around you will find it. Important note: I went here in January just to kill time before a flight. May be more impressive in spring/summer. The park can be leisurely walked through in under 20 min. Lots of good info about the plants, and a very calming place for a small walk. But the plants themselves weren't visually very engaging. Also next to a nice big park with a pond you can walk around. Overall, nothing super special but a very relaxing place to spend 10-45 min."
"I was surprised to learn there was a botanical garden in Manhattan Beach. Street parking was easy, free to enter located right next to Polliwog Park. The garden itself is quite small, neatly tended with a few benches scattered throughout, a meditation garden and a butterfly sanctuary. There is a path that connects the garden to Polliwog Park, there is a pond with ducks and geese and plenty of park equipment for the little ones."
"The most adorable little local botanical garden I have stumbled upon. My husband and I were feeding the ducks by the lake and noticed some signs on the hill. We went up and walked through this garden. It was so well kept, had great information on all of the plants, a nice water feature and a little picnic area. I saw a lot of pollinators around! The sage and rosemary smelled amazing. It’s worth a walk through!"
