"A wonderful half day walk along Bridgeway. Scenic views for photography. Fresh air while browsing the sea on one side and hills on the other. For food, there are many restaurants with great scenic views. Parking is not a problem. You can enjoy delicious dining. Scenery that you will love at this iconic place. You may go from San Francisco via a boat ferry or bicycle ,over great Golden Gate Bridge. We enjoyed Muir Wood too on north. You may enjoy fun shopping from local shops. Every moment is worth enjoying."

"I spent almost half a day here. Loved the vibe and culture. Recommend to explore on foot rather than biking unless you plan to bike to the Golden Gate Bridge. The reason being its cute little town with a nice downtown street and with a bike in hand you will only need an hour or two max to go around the town. On foot you can explore at a nice pace and hop into shops as needed. But biking in a nice weather would be fun as well. Would definitely visit again to try out more restaurants and for a picnic with friends."

"We walked from the Golden gate Bridge to Sausalito. Beautiful views total walk took about 1.5 hours. About 1/4 of the walk sidewalks are lacking. We ate at a yummy sandwich shop & got delicious ice cream. Nothing beats the views. So breathtaking. Oh & walking the Golden gate most definitely add it to your bucket list BEAUTIFUL is an understatement ❤ we caught the ferry in Sausalito back to the city."
