"Lovely park space that has large grassy area, playground for kids, several picnic tables under gazebos and even a fully fenced dog park which is very popular. Another great feature is a little duck pond where you can fish and also has a beautiful weeping willow. Truly an all around entire family friendly park."
"We let the pups run and play here when we found out the dog park was closed. They didn't mind. Still made a bunch of friends and had a blast. Restrooms were locked for some reason. Had a few short friendly interaction with some locals. Everyone was very kind and open to talk with us."
"The best dog park in within 20 miles of Auburn. The other ones are great too - but after a year of living here with my three dogs, this is the one we come back to again and again. First, the dog stuff: it's got a nice high fence all round, separate small and large dog areas, and plenty of water and at least some shade at all times of day. Nice grass too. There's also a waterfall feature and small paddle pools, which is great for water babies and hot days. The best thing though is the people - the regulars are friendly and welcoming, there's almost always someone there, and especially in the mornings and around sunset, there's plenty of big, playful and energetic dogs for your pup to play with. People are good about keeping their dogs under control too, if your dog is more of a shy baby, the other dogs and humans are respectful. Someone for all ages - mornings and evenings and weekends are a younger crowd, families and stuff. Other times it's more senior, though I find that age doesn't matter so much because everyone is friendly and you always have something to bond over. If you haven't been, definitely check it out. Sunset is my favorite time to come because the dogs all look so beautiful and the people are in a good mood."
"Visited this park only once because I thought it would be a good place to walk for exercise, but didn’t because of the many gofer holes in the ground, and though it has a dog park, many dog owners had their dogs run freely outside the dog park area. I enjoyed seeing the small lake with geese. I also had an issue with a car that parked so close to my driver’s side, I had to climb in from the passenger’s side."
"Great dog park! I always bring my dogs here when I am in town. Has a large and small dog area but most dogs hang out in the large dog side. Great for water dogs also as it has a waterfall they can climb into. In the summer locals bring in kiddie pools for the dogs also. Lots of grass, friendly dogs, plenty of places to sit."
