"No one cleans up after their dogs, even though the City of San Jacinto provides plenty of poo pickup bags and trash bins. I've had to have my dog treated for giardia 2x's in 2023 from the paracites when they run around in the filthy park. The people allow their dogs to be agressive, dominant, and have no recall or training, don't even pay attention to their dogs while they sit and chat like a high school clique of unfriendly clueless group."
"TO THE NOT THE DOG PARK OWNER BUT THE WEB PAGE DESIGNER: YOUR RESPONSE IS RUDE AND INAPPROPRIATE!! GOOGLE REVIEW GETS GOOD AND BAD. YOU NEED TO RECEIVE IT WITH PROFESSIONALISM!! UPDATE: The dog park 5 days after the rain and it's still very much flooded (see pics). I love bringing my dog here but the lack of drainage makes it very messy for weeks after it rains. While its not the best dog park in the world or even the state, the dog owners and dogs that go to this park are awesome. There is a great group of regulars that stop 4-5 days/nights per week. The dogs know each other and so do the owners. One section floods after it rains and there isn't any grass; however my dog gets great exercise here and he loves to come!"
"We love bringing Bruno there. We have learned he is highly social with other big dogs when he is happy we are happy too. We have learned a lot from other big dog owners. He has become a better behaved dog by having this experience."
"Its a nice but a limited dog park. It’s best to go when it’s empty and when all the puddles from the rain dry up. Be careful on Thursdays, met unpleasant human beings here. Two or three let their four or so unleashed dogs frolic through the grass, and through the dog park, back and forth. They couldn’t really run after them and remove their dogs off my leashed dogs outside the dog park. It’s frustrating and reckless. Dogs fought, passed a bite or two back and forth, and eventually they took off in a white handicap van. Anyways, the fencing is nice, they provide poop bags, rake and dustpan, a trash barrel, a pavilion in the center of the park with cement benches, and a couple of step-on water bowl hooked to a faucet. The outside areas of the dog park is nice as well. Grass and shrubs and trees are kept clean. Most people mind their own business at this park, but just be careful of the ones that let their dogs loose on the grass."
"A fenced area, with a pavilion and benches, completely covered in decomposed grannette (no grass) does not make a dog park. More like a puppy prison yard. Only advantage is if you have a small yard (or have a rock yard like me), this is a place your dog can run. So, it DOES deserve 1 star for that I guess."
