Reviews of Centennial Park
"The bathrooms do not have stall doors! Let's play! Structure design is meant for older children, not suitable for toddlers. My nephew's whole leg fell right through the yellow and green ramps."
"I have family in the neighborhood and I grew up coming to this park with my siblings and cousins as kids. Families still come to the parkland enjoy themselves. There are more homeless people but doing the day it's quiet or a group of people with kids will come for a few hours. I see sweethearts in the park on their lunch breaks. In the evening a group of guys come and play basketball and I often seen teenagers practicing dance moves for their dance clubs. I have never seen anyone get into fights or cause problems. I always hear laughter, music and dogs barking. Picnic areas are big and not dirty, the park is dog friendly and the dog owners are mindful of their dogs. The playground is small but clean."
"The park was very clean. Good amount of trash cans and tables. There aren't any tables near the playground, but there is a small Pavillion you can set tables at. Overall, it was quiet, and not too many cars were driving around. The playing equipment looked well taken care of as well. I didn't get to the restrooms, but there was some there. It was a nice place to picnic at. Just set a blanket and bring snacks, and it's nice."
"The city needs to clean up trash, curbs, bushes, weeds, water leaks, trees branches hanging down-graffiti throughout , the tennis courts are cracked and full of weeds, Chinese elms growing in jumpier bushes, a truck drives on the grass in the back and lives there. The back new freeway fence has the shadow of the graffiti after the city “removed”. City workers at their finest in their truck, they came with that load of junk in the back and never removed large items at this park! Very sad the homeless living there."
