"I come here about once a week with the kiddos. Nice big play ground and extensive grass fields to run around in. I play basketball there when I can as well. Good pick up games on the weekends. The playground is good for all ages. My daughter is 1.6 years old and climbs the small rock wall with ease. She loves this park."
"I absolutely love having this park nearby my home! I have walked around this park often enough over the past few years that I recognize the regulars throughout the day (a big fan of the early bird crowd). The most active times for this park on weekdays are between 7am - 9am, and 5pm - sunset. If you come here from 11am - 2pm, you may experience high UV, but it’s also low activity and the clear open fields can be a slice of zen. I usually see people pull up to relax on their lunch breaks from work or there are folks tending to their plot in the community garden. The weekends are sporadic with activity; when there are little league games or practices underway, or birthday parties (tables can be reserved online), the parking lot is nearly always full during these times, however, there is always street parking available to accommodate for large gatherings. Nearly every opportunity I get I walk my dog here! Many dog owners frequent this area and even meet up on a weekly-basis. While most dogs are friendly, I would advise being aware of your surroundings as I’ve had a couple instances of off-leash dogs running up to us during our walks (to sniff him out of curiosity, excitedly jump on him, nip playfully or aggressively). This often happens due to ignorance, a lack of the owner’s supervision, or physical/verbal control. The city of Torrance has entertained the idea of a dog park here. If one were to be constructed, I hope this would resolve the off-leash concerns."
"Good open space park, it has an area for the barbecues, the playground is good and enough space to play, have a picnic, take the pet to walk and it also there is the Riviera Little League fields next to it, so great for the kids to visit!"
"Excellent well kept large park. Huge kids play area & bathrooms. Lots of street parking."
"This a is very good park in the nice neighborhood, also i have one of small rented Garden there which i really like. Spending time in my garden is one of my best time in the day and i really enjoy planting my own organic vegetable. It has playground, which i think it needs more equipment for game and play for kids"
