"I have been seeing David for individual therapy sessions and EMDR, in addition to both David and Meshel for couples therapy, for a little over a year now and felt it was essential to leave a glowing recommendation for all three of these services. Finding the right provider has taken time, but I am so grateful that UW recommended this practice to me! I feel that David is an excellent navigator during clinical sessions and is able to efficiently optimize each session through careful navigation of each conversation. Each session leaves me with clarity and tools for success for the next encounter of whatever was revealed. EMDR was, for me, the equivalent of 10 talk therapy sessions in one. Again, David carefully navigated the emotional voltage of these sessions to make it effective but not overwhelming. Both David and Meshel provided excellent patient care during couples therapy and provided a super safe space for both my husband and I to feel seen and heard and then provided tools for success after the sessions. We chose to seek this service as a "cleaning" rather than a root canal, if that makes sense and I would recommend their services to any couple (not just for those who are in need of a relationship root canal) with confidence.
