"Nice park, mostly clean but has been poopy at times. I am visiting from Toronto for a few months, and my only complaint is the people who bring small children with them into the large dog area and then freak out when my large dog barks and terrifies their small child. But this is California, so maybe they also take their small children with them to swim with the dolphins and the sharks…"
"Good sized fully fenced in dog park with a big dog area and a small dog area separated by a fence. Both sides have fully working dog and human water fountains, and leash/unleash areas to let your dog on/off leash safely. Multiple wooden benches to sit at and a couple benches even have awnings over them for shadey seating. Mostly grassy but there was some muddy areas. Very mellow vibe, sunny all day when it's out and would 100% recommend taking your dog there, big or small."
"Nice big dog park with two sections for big and small dogs. It's grassy but patchy and pretty uneven my senior dog struggles to walk around it. Can be muddy in early Am with the dew."
"The only dog park in the area I bring my dog to. It's mostly regulars who know how to Control their dogs and communicate well with each other. Everyone is very friendly. Though as with any dog park, there are still the random few who occasionally bring in dogs that are not quite ready to be off leash with other dogs or their owners have not put in time to train them. Mostly good experiences all around here tho and the place I recommend."
"Pros: - beautiful place - pretty big park, lots of space to walk your pet - pretty low traffic Cons: - been here twice, and every time there was some di*khead with one or more completely unsocialized dogs hogging the park. Looking at you guy with two huskies. You'd be better served driving an extra few minutes and going to the park in Castro valley avoiding the clowns here."
