The Kid's playground and barbeque areas adorn the duck pond. 30 years ago, my now grown sons played with their friends and we loved it when they would come home on base muddy, wet and dirty..The Travis AFB duck pond is therapeutic for seniors as it connects their body, mind and senses to nature. Bring a dog leash and don't let them get loose as there's plenty of rabbits, squirrel, geese, ducks, and much more!"

"Love to take my kids here, the playground is nice and had a good variety of things for them to do, could use some more seating for the adults around the playground. The walking path is great, love to walk it with the kids after they've gotten their playtime in and wear them out a bit more before heading home. Perfect place if you want to get some exercise and wear the little ones out for a quiet couple of hours at home afterwards."
