About Us

Estuary Park, located in Oakland, California, is a popular tourist attraction and park along the Oakland Estuary. The park is currently undergoing a renovation and expansion project to create a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike. The project, part of the Estuary Policy Plan, aims to enhance the waterfront area and improve the quality of city life socially and ecologically.
The park currently features the Jack London Aquatic Center, rowing programs, a multi-use field, a boat launching ramp, and a picnic area. With the addition of the 'Cash and Carry' property, the park will be expanded to offer even more amenities and recreational opportunities.
The renovation and expansion project will be implemented in phases as funding becomes available, with a focus on developing detailed designs and conducting environmental reviews. Community input is crucial to the project, and residents are encouraged to participate in workshops and surveys to help shape the future of Estuary Park.
Join us in shaping the future of Estuary Park and be a part of creating a better Oakland waterfront. Take our survey and lend your voice to this exciting project! #OaklandEstuaryPark"

"Great Park right on the water, a few people living on their boats leave them alone they're having a tough enough time. People living on the boats seem to be the only ones that cleans the park. I saw a city of Oakland parks and recreation trucks four employees sitting in the park in the truck for almost three and a half hours."
"Beautiful and relaxing area with a lovely Sunday Farmer's Market every week."
"I love taking my puppy their it's peaceful, a great view and my puppy loves playing and meeting new dogs their. It's definitely a great place for everybody!"
"I'm not from this area but I stopped with an old friend and we walked the trail, quiet place for walking, running, biking or just chilling. Was a bit breezy mid afternoon but still nice."
"The sunset goes perfectly in a rainbow reflection at 6:30-7:00 pm"
