Reviews of Gualala Point Regional Park Campground
"Very beautiful and scenic on the coast. The campground is among some real old Redwood trees. The river is right there beside the campground. Great place to get away from it and enjoy the environment"
"Nice little campground always full but has bathrooms and a shower"
"Small but beautiful campground next to river and a nice little hike to the beach nestled amongst the redwoods. 1 of our most favorite places to camp. Coin operated hot showers, flush toilets. Bathrooms cleaned daily. Firewood for sale on site from campground host. Very dog friendly. Highly recommend."
"Such a cozy and magical place! It was my first time camping and I loved it. This place is beautiful and our walk-in campsite was nestled in and so very cozy. The trail to the beach was also really nice."
"This place is awesome. I’m not usually this enamored with organized campgrounds, but the sites are spaced well and the facilities are clean. It was very quiet at night, so quiet that we could actually hear the ocean while laying in our tents. The trees are stunning of course and it’s not a big campground so it’s not a ton of people. The beach for pulling out our kayaks was the only downside, there’s not any easy flat spots to beach. The river itself was shockingly clear and very peaceful: slow-flowing and wide in many places. The walk to the coast is about 1.5 miles one way, depending on which site you are at. Book early if you want to stay here though because it literally is booked six months out if you need to go on a weekend."
