"Great campsite near a river and tucked in the trees. Some sites are tight, check before booking. I wouldn't recommend anything over 30+ feet. River was low but enough to paddleboard or kayak in. Ping Pong tables, volleyball and more. Great coffee booth in the morning!"
"What a little piece of heaven!!! I absolutely loved my 2 night stay here in a tent. The grounds are so well kept, bathrooms are clean, amazing coffee cart open in the morning, and sites right by the river. I’m obsessed and will definitely be back!"
"Like rolling into Endor! Amazing stay at this campground tucked into the woods, yet minutes away from the beach. Warm, friendly staff. Bathrooms and showers well stocked and maintained. Campsites are generous and separated by ferns, not fences! BONUS: cafe trailer ready to serve all your specialty coffees and bagels! Not cheap, but an unexpected treat. Draw backs are few. Sites near river are the only ones to get lots of daylight (if concerned about solar). Only water and electric but dumps are easy to access and bathrooms make it an non-issue for small tanks or tent campers. Read complaints about mosquitoes but we didn’t really need much more than non-deet spray here and there (late May). Favorite place yet."
"My wife made me cancel the reservation I made for other campground and she did the reservation with her requirements: tall trees , not so hot, water nearby, electricity outlet, running water, walking trails. This campground checked all her requirements. We had fantastic 3 nights in the campground with our site looking over the Gualala River. Our 7 years old had so much fun that he forgot to open his toy bag he noticed only after we came back home. Awesome time!"
"This campground is amazing! The sites are generous and beautiful, the grounds are very well maintained, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. You can't beat the beauty of the redwoods. There is a store where one can buy essentials and campground swag. They also have a swing set, ping pong ball tables, cornhole, and other fun outdoor games and activities. All the staff is helpful, friendly, and happy to answer questions or offer assistance. We went kayaking on the Gualala River and it was just lovely. There are also fabulous beach areas for kids. We highly recommend this campground!"
