"Very frustrated consistently not receiving packages when the tracking indicates they were delivered. When calling this post office, they say they will look into it but don’t even take your number to get back to you. I have to call and walk around to my neighboring houses and streets to ask about my ‘delivered’ packages. It’s a consistent issue, this alone is the 3rd time in the past month."
"There is a man that works at the cross plains po counter that is a wonderful person! But, Kathy, (I think she said her name was), is NOT a nice person and hates her job and the people she waits on! When I walked into the cross plains po lobby she had just finished working on someone who she was rude to. When they walked out I heard her say to herself in an angry voice, "only 5 minutes left before I can get out of here, thank god!!!" I had just a simple Xmas card I wanted to mail but decided to make sure that I didn't need my second stamp (in my hands) on my envelope because of the width of the envelope. I asked her if she could verify the size didn't need more postage (like I've done 100 times at many many post offices over the past 50+ years). But instead of her quickly just taking the card & glancing at it (like EVERYONE ELSE DOES!!!), she said to me, No first you must go to that computer screen and answer all of the questions. I didn't need to buy any stamps or anything from her! I had my own. But yet she felt the need to make it complicated as if it was a big deal for her to LOOK at my card size!!! I said nobody else makes me do this. She replied that ALL of those people in ALL of those PO are wrong. And that SHE is a post master and how dare I tell her how to do her job. Then she threatened to make trouble for the other workers because she said ONLY SHE knows how to do things the right way, they don't! Wow, she must be a horrible person to work with!!! She is definitely a horrible customer service person with her ATTITUDE! ... (The following I added after looking at other reviews ... I see there are a lot of complaints about the attitude of this woman ... I think the best review I read here, which is Spot On: "Post master has an attitude, like she has the hardest job in the world! LOL.")"
"I think the post office staff is very nice and helpful. What people forget, post office employees are working at their jobs. Not necessarily there to do what others demand of them. If you a nicely, say please and thank you, maybe that might help your problems. We are all human beings. Civility is important."
"Most incompetent post office ever! They continually deliver my mail and packages to another house on another street a mile away because we have the same house number, and vise versa. This has happened on and off for two years. I have made several complaints. They are so difficult to deal with, we just deliver each other’s packages back and forth. Speaking of packages, UPS and Fed Ex are both great and reliable, but when they drop the package off at the post office, it sometimes takes an extra 3-4 days to get here. Currently one is “missing” after UPS delivered it to the post office. So frustrating"
"I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Our Sunday postal carrier Jeff was extremely disrespectful and hostile when we politely asked that he drive safely through our small neighborhood. After being asked to simply drive the speed limit, he was immediately defensive, argumentive and down right rude. I have never felt the need to report anyone to their supervisor, but when someone puts my kids (who are just trying to ride their bikes in front of their house) safety at risk..."
